Job Profile Summary
Summary
Technical project lead for designing, building, implementing and maintaining primarily enterprise-wide applications. Establishes standards and policies for application development. Participates in all phases of software lifecycle development, particularly in the analysis and design of technical specifications, coding, testing and implementation.

Essential Functions
-Sets goals for new systems and applications and develops requests for changes to existing systems and applications.
-Designs, codes, tests, and debugs applications.
-Develops project plans, specifications, schedules, and technical parameters as related to application development.
-Collaborates with leaders and staff to negotiate application specifications.
-Studies current systems or develops new systems and procedures.
-Provides mentorship and guidance to other programmers/analysts in the development and implementation of applications.

Education
Bachelor's Degree Information Systems preferred

Licenses and Credentials

Experience
experience in application development and design 5-7 years required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong technical skills including programming, systems analysis, design and testing.
- Excellent communication skills - both oral and written Must be able to negotiate and/or communicate with all levels of staff including senior management.
- Demonstrated statistical/analytic and reasoning skills to perform high level of problem solving.
- Ability to assume a high level of authority and responsibility.
- Has a thorough understanding of application development, including analysis, coding, testing, project management, and project life cycle methodologies.
- Must be proficient within appropriate development environment.
