Department of Pediatrics-Neurology

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic physician leader to serve as Division Chief of Neurology. This individual will provide strategic, clinical, academic, and operational leadership for the Division of Neurology in the Department of Pediatrics. The Division Director will be responsible for advancing excellence in patient care, education, research, and faculty development while aligning with the broader mission of the institution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Leadership
  • Provide oversight of clinical care delivery within the pediatric neurology clinic to ensure the highest standards of quality, safety, and patient outcomes
    Develop, implement, and monitor evidence-based clinical protocols and best practices
    Maintain an active clinical presence in neurology
  • Faculty & Staff Leadership
  • Recruit, retain, mentor, and evaluate neurology faculty and advanced practice providers
    Foster a culture of collaboration, professionalism, and continuous improvement
    Oversee staffing models, scheduling, and performance management
  • Operational & Financial Management
  • Monitor key performance metrics (e.g., clinical productivity, quality indicators)

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: MD/DO degree, and board certification/eligibility in Child Neurology is required.

Candidates will be evaluated on: Subspecialty training in epilepsy, headache or neuromuscular preferred
