Patient & Provider Liaison (Entry Level) Position Overview We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Patient & Provider Liaison to support patient care coordination and administrative operations within a healthcare environment. This role serves as a key communication bridge between patients, providers, and internal teams, ensuring a seamless experience across medical settings. Key Responsibilities Patient & Provider Liaison * Manage patient communications related to ER visits, inpatient hospital services, and Early Bird Alert portals * Provide patient education and ensure understanding of available healthcare resources * Act as a liaison between patients, providers, and care teams Benefits & Enrollment Support * Assist with marketing and enrollment efforts for healthcare programs * Collaborate with brokers and benefits specialists to support enrollment processes * Provide guidance on benefit offerings and eligibility Administrative & Care Coordination * Handle high-volume inbound and outbound calls in a call center environment * Coordinate patient transitions between care settings * Perform data entry and maintain accurate records * Support prior authorization, insurance verification, and benefit verification processes Required Skills * Strong customer service and communication skills * Experience in care coordination and healthcare workflows * Ability to thrive in a call center environment * Familiarity with: * Prior authorization * Insurance verification * Benefit verification * Proficiency in data entry and Excel data entry Preferred Qualifications * Minimum 1 - 2 years of experience in a managed care or healthcare setting * Advanced certification (e.g., Medical Assistant Certification or nursing school background) highly preferred * Knowledge of medical terminology * Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel * Strong multitasking and organizational skills * Experience with project coordination or project management is a plus Experience Level * Entry Level (with preferred relevant healthcare experience) Why Join Us? * Opportunity to work in a patient-centered healthcare environment * Gain hands-on experience in care coordination and benefits navigation * Collaborative team atmosphere with growth potential Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Glendale, CA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
