YOUR MISSION
  • Own Payroll and Benefits system configuration within the current Workday environment, including pay groups, earnings and deductions, eligibility rules, business processes, condition rules, pay calendars, and benefit plans
  • Manage annual Open Enrollment system setup and support for the US, Puerto Rico, and Canada, including configuration updates, testing, eligibility rules, rate tables, and carrier integration support
  • Act as the primary systems partner for Payroll and Benefits teams, troubleshooting issues, identifying root causes, and translating operational requirements into scalable system solutions
  • Support and maintain payroll-related integrations, including carrier feeds, EIBs, vendor connections, and downstream data validation processes
  • Lead testing activities for releases, payroll changes, benefits updates, and ongoing enhancements, including test planning, execution, issue tracking, and validation
  • Build and maintain HR system reports, calculated fields, and operational reporting solutions supporting Payroll, Benefits, HR, and compliance processes
  • Support payroll-related timekeeping processes and partner on troubleshooting data flow and integration issues between systems
  • Maintain clear documentation, SOPs, testing records, and process guides to support operational continuity and knowledge sharing
  • Partner closely with Payroll, Benefits, HR, Finance, and colleagues across the global HR Technology team on projects, enhancements, audits, and process improvements
YOUR TALENT
  • 4-6 years of hands-on Workday experience with strong focus on Payroll and/or Benefits systems configuration
  • Strong configuration experience within enterprise HR/payroll systems, ideally including Workday Payroll and Benefits
  • Experience supporting payroll-related business processes, integrations, eligibility rules, deductions, pay calendars, and operational system workflows
  • Understanding of US multi-state payroll operations and compliance requirements; Canada experience is a plus
  • Experience supporting HR/payroll integrations, EIBs, vendor feeds, or related system interfaces
  • Strong testing and troubleshooting skills with ability to identify issues, validate fixes, and manage priorities independently
  • Structured approach to documentation, process management, and operational support
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with Payroll, HR, Finance, and operational stakeholders
  • Comfortable working in a lean, global team environment with high ownership and autonomy
  • (nice to have) Workday Pro certification in Payroll and/or Benefits
  • ( nice to have) Experience with UKG/Kronos Dimensions or other workforce timekeeping platforms
  • (nice to have) Experience in retail, distribution, or other high-volume hourly employee environments
  • (nice to have) Exposure to additional HRIS platforms and HR technology ecosystems beyond Workday
  • (nice to have) Experience working in a global HR Technology or COE structure

The hiring range base pay for this position is $62,700 - $83,380 + Bonus + Benefits
