Requisition Summary

This position performs a variety of accounting activities under minimal supervision to ensure timely and accurate journal entries, reconciliations and reporting.

Job Responsibilities
  • Prepare account reconciliations and book month end journal entries as assigned.
  • Prepare monthly analysis of factory overhead and assist in preparation of monthly forecast
  • Ensure accurate inventory valuation based on performance of interim inventories, factor reviews, and play a key role in the coordination of physical inventory.
Job Responsibilities Continued
  • Assist with various audits, including financial and operational audits.
  • Ensure proper internal controls exist and perform audits to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley.
  • Participate in process improvement to standardize best practices.
  • Provide pertinent financial/accounting data to management.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree inAccounting required.
  • 3+ years of relevant accounting experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • CPA/CMA and Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience with SAP preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be comfortable making oral presentations to peers and management.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills required to manage various projects.
  • Deadline-driven and self-motivated.
