JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus Office of Outreach and Continuing Education invites applications from individuals interested in teaching Non-Credit classes. Various short-term courses, in a variety of health and safety topic areas, will be offered during the day, evening, and on weekends at the campus in Lemont Furnace or at selected off campus locations. Classes can meet one or more days per week and the length of class time can vary from a minimum of 2 hours to a maximum of 8 hours per day. Instructors will be needed in the following subject areas:
Pay for these classes is determined based on instructor experience and the frequency and duration of each class, with no University benefits. BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check.CAMPUS SECURITY CRIME STATISTICS Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
