Job Title: Legal Assistant- Bilingual Spanish
Location: Marietta, GA ( Onsite 5 days) Type: Full Time Salary: $48000- $55000 Our client which is a law firm in Marietta is seeking a Legal Assistant. Our legal assistants are an integral part of the legal team. We need a warm and compassionate person who can also be organized and detailed and insure we do the right things at the right time for our clients. The person for this job is passionate about coming to work for an organization that is making a difference with clients and communities. Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities * Completing administrative duties such as making copies, answering, and directing phone calls and greeting existing and new potential clients. * Coordinating appointments, including all correspondence and logistics necessary. * Establishing Insurance claims and cases * Drafting, managing, and proofreading legal documentation, letters, and correspondence in strict confidence. * Corresponding with counsel, court, and insurance adjusters. * Keep the attorneys up to date with treatment so that the client does not over treat based upon the impact. * Compiling organizing, redacting, and labeling documents for production * Communicating with clients by text, email, and phone calls throughout the life of the case. * Requesting and reviewing medical records. * Creating medical chronologies specific to each individual case. * Docketing and managing deadlines. The Ideal Candidate * Excellent people skills * Manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. * Prioritize tasks and work independently. * Work under pressure in a fast-paced environment * Organized and detail oriented. * Computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office * Familiarity with relevant laws in the areas of personal injury claims, motor vehicle accidents, and insurance (preferred but not required) * Knowledge of medical terms common to personal injury cases * Knowledge of insurance coverage types and policies Estimated Min Rate: $48000 Estimated Max Rate: $55000 What's In It for You?
