Responsibilities
TheTask Order Manager (TOM)isresponsiblefor planning, oversight, management, and/orexecutionof commercial construction,maintenance, and operations projects and/or task ordersoncomplexmechanical, electrical, and structuralsystems. The TOM will reportto, andcoordinate efforts,with the Project Manager (PM) and lead a team of 2 Planner-Estimators.
- Utilize and understand project safety plans and develop comprehensive building schedules with a 12+ week look ahead, ensuring all safety protocols and timelines are met.
- Perform quality reviews of design documentation, analyzing and interpreting complete drawing packages to evaluate constructability.
- Conduct B1 take-offs, manage daily material, and perform material and labor planning to update lookaheadforecasts.
- Supportlogisticsplanning for personnel and equipment, tracking project metrics including time and materials through unit tracking and field quality control.
- Ensureall permits, licenses, and inspection filings areidentifiedand obtained before performing work.
- Manage crew activities, keeping them on task, ensuring work is installed on time,monitoringovertime hours, anddetermininglabor requirements.
- Participate in weekly resource allocation meetings, create resource-loaded schedules (includingmanpower, material, equipment), and ensure the project hasan accurateorg chart.
- Complete project documentation per M.C. Dean standards, including Change Orders, RFIs, Detailed Daily Reports, and ensure proper documentation return to site QC representatives.
- Follow procedures for responding and reporting accidents and incidents, lead daily ORM meetings, and ensure team safety by reviewing and storing all AHA's related to the project scope.
- Complete quality control inspections of work completed, follow established QC plans and checklists, and ensure work is completed per applicable plans, specifications, codes, and industry standards.
- Communicate consistently withthe PM, project teams, and other trades, engage in scheduled project meetings, and serve as a reliable contact for field operations with customer representatives.

Qualifications
High school diploma/GED with at least ten (10) years of experience working in the electrical industry, including five 5) years of experience with responsible planning, oversight, management, and/or execution of commercial construction, maintenance, and operations projects and/or task orders. This experience must be in a large commercial/industrial facility or at multiple facilities with complex mechanical, electrical, and structural requirements. Must have experience coordinating work and communicating with customers and subcontractors. Must have experience developing,modifying, and tracking schedules. Must be skilled with Microsoft programs, including Word, Excel, and Project.
