This role sits within BOK Financials Finance organization, where the team is focused on communicating results accurately, forecasting future outcomes, and helping drive profitability across the bank. As an Accounting Project Specialist within Control Operations, you'll play a key role in supporting enterprise-wide initiatives that impact how money moves, is recorded, and ultimately reported. You'll partner across teams to ensure the right accounting structure, controls, and data are in place from the start-working on projects that span systems, products, and processes. In this role, you'll act as the accounting and controls lead on cross-functional projects, partnering closely with business lines, IT, and project teams to design, test, and implement solutions with financial impact. You'll help define how transactions flow through systems into the general ledger, ensure appropriate controls are built in, and support testing, reporting, and early production efforts. The team is involved from initial concept through implementation and beyond, requiring strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate complex, evolving priorities across multiple projects at once. Education & Experience Requirements
This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and 8+ years related accounting experience in progressive accounting roles.
