Position Summary
The Senior BIM Specialist is responsible for leading and supporting Building Information Modeling (BIM) efforts for complex infrastructure projects. This role plays a critical part in developing, implementing, and maintaining BIM standards, coordinating and advancing digital delivery strategies across project teams. The ideal candidate brings expertise in Autodesk Revit and a proven track record delivering high-quality BIM solutions for treatment facilities and utility systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, and maintain detailed BIM models for water and wastewater treatment facilities, pump stations, pipelines, and related infrastructure.
  • Lead or support the development and enforcement of BIM standards, workflows, and best practices for project delivery.
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers to ensure accurate model coordination and integration across multiple disciplines.
  • Support digital delivery strategies.
  • Oversee model quality control, ensuring compliance with project requirements, industry standards, and client BIM execution plans.
  • Prepare and manage BIM deliverables, including drawings, schedules, visualizations, and digital handover models.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to future junior BIM and design staff.
  • Act as a technical liaison with clients, contractors, and third-party stakeholders regarding BIM execution and digital workflows.
  • Stay current with emerging BIM technologies, Autodesk platform updates, and digital delivery trends within the water sector.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ Years of BIM modeling experience, with a strong focus on water and wastewater infrastructure projects. Experience working with owners, EPC teams, and construction partners on model-driven delivery is a plus.
  • Ability to Produce and Review 2D drawings from the BIM Drawings
  • Advanced expertise in Autodesk Revit; experience with Civil 3D, Navisworks, and related Autodesk tools a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience leading or supporting BIM standards and digital delivery strategies.
  • Strong understanding of utility systems, piping, and site infrastructure.
  • Ability to manage complex models and datasets across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
