Mechanical Technician (Contract-to-Hire) - Advanced Robotics & Mission Systems Location: Franklin, MA Pay Rate: $25/hour We are hiring Mechanical Technicians to support our Advanced Robotics & Mission Systems team in Franklin, MA. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with strong potential for conversion for top performers. Hiring is ongoing, with multiple openings through mid/end of August. This role focuses on fabricating, assembling, testing, and inspecting electro-mechanical assemblies to ensure products meet or exceed customer expectations. You will collaborate cross-functionally to support efficient, high-quality production in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities: Build and assemble products using blueprints, schematics, and bills of materials Perform electro-mechanical assembly, wiring, and installation of components Conduct testing and inspections to maintain quality and compliance standards Use hand tools, torque tools, and soldering equipment safely Maintain accurate documentation and organized workstations Follow IPC standards (IPC-610/620, J-STD-001 experience preferred) Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required 2-5 years of manufacturing experience with electrical/mechanical assemblies Ability to read technical drawings and perform basic shop math Strong attention to detail and communication skills U.S. Citizenship required Schedule: Monday-Thursday: 6:30 AM - 4:00 PM Friday: 6:30 AM - 10:30 AM Employee Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, and pet insurance 401(k) Retirement Savings Plans Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Commuter/Parking Accounts People Perks Health Savings Account (HSA) AD & D Insurance If you're a skilled Mechanical Technician seeking a hands-on role with career growth potential, we encourage you to apply.
