SSP America is seeking a detail-oriented and people-focused Human Resources Coordinator to support our restaurant operations team at JFK Airport. In this role, you'll serve as a key HR resource for managers and employees, assisting with onboarding, employee relations, compliance, recordkeeping, and day-to-day HR administration.

This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional with at least one year of experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to grow their career with a leading hospitality organization.



Essential Functions



  • Support the full-cycle onboarding process, including new hire paperwork, orientation, and employment verification.
  • Maintain employee records and HR documentation while ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
  • Assist employees and managers with HR-related questions regarding policies, benefits, and procedures.
  • Coordinate and track training, certifications, and compliance requirements.
  • Assist with leave administration, attendance tracking, and employee status changes.
  • Partner with operational leaders to support staffing, retention, and employee relations efforts.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and company employment policies and procedures.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team and assist with special projects as needed.



Skills & Requirements



  • Minimum 1 year of Human Resources experience required.
  • Knowledge of employment laws, HR practices, and employee relations principles.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
