CLA is growing and seeking to hire an experienced Senior Technical Analyst to join our talented Information Technology team. The position offers growth, flexibility and a collaborative work environment. In this position you should have the following; excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels. Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment. Most important, demonstrate a high level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation. This position is located at our CLA Charlotte office located in Ballantyne and requires working on-site 5 days a week. The Senior Technical Analyst will take lead on day-to-day technical operations of the Connection Center and users for all conference rooms. In this position you should have the following: passion for AV, excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels. Most important, demonstrate a high level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation. How you'll create opportunities in this Senior Technical Analyst role:
- Provide on-site support to our end-users as a Level 2 analyst, ensuring prompt and courteous technical assistance.
- Conduct live on-demand assistance for instructors and staff
- Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure all systems are operating at optimum levels prior to events
- Oversee the technical aspects of live events
- Ensure all event spaces are equipped with necessary technology
- Prepare technology in all rooms used for all events
- Support instructors in multiple conference rooms
- Coordinate the setup and operation of audio-visual equipment for all events
- Support and facilitate live events and incoming event request
- Support AV, Conference room technologies and media systems
- Understanding of conferencing systems such as Microsoft Teams, touch panels, projections, displays, and ceiling/table microphones
- Experience supporting Poly, Tri-Caster's, Crestron AV equipment, and room controls as we Microsoft Teams room devices
- Ability to independently oversee and run events in a control room for live events in an auditorium setting.
- Understanding of audio, video, and system signal flow
- Basic hardware troubleshooting. Example: WIFI, Laptops, and AV equipment.
- Be able to handle multiple issues and once
- Work cross functionally with Learning team and other IT technical teams
- Manage an effective tier 2 support operation for all conferences
- Assists in maintaining technology inventory according to defined processes
- Monitor and report system issue appropriately
- Manage local inventory

- Perform daily equipment checks and set ups of classroom and event space technology (Laptop sources, projectors TV's and presentation materials
- Act as a liaison between Leaning team an technical teams

- Dynamically flex to customer needs and adapt to complications
- Act as a Point of Contact for customer escalation in event rooms

What you will need:
- 5 years of relevant experience such supporting end-user hardware and software required
- Minium of 3-5 years of AV Production experience
- Experience working productions with a large live audience of up to 200 people
- Bachelor's degree or a combination of relevant experience and training may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Must be flexible to work after hours, weekend and travel when required to provide support for shows
- Knowledge of computer hardware and peripherals.
- Usage of support ticketing systems preferred.
- Expert in supporting conference room technology
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's degree or a combination of relevant experience and training may be considered in lieu of a degree.
