Start Date 06/20/2026 Contract Sheppard Trainer Maintenance Salary Range $46.49/Hour Posting Date 06/05/2026 Union Yes FLSA Status Non-Exempt Shift Work Possible FT/PT Full-time Relocation No Travel Possible Job Summary: Ml 's Civil Engineering Trainer Maintenance Specialist performs required maintenance and repair on pneumatic, electronic, and electrical (interior and exterior}, power production HVAC, and environmental and fuel Civil Engineering trainers. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: * Maintains, and repairs electrical power generating and control systems. * Maintains, and repairs aircraft arresting systems, and associated equipment. * Maintains, troubleshoots, modifies, repairs, and manages plumbing, water distribution, wastewater collection systems, water and wastewater treatment systems, fire suppression, backflow prevention systems, natural gas distribution systems, liquid fuel storage, distribution, and dispensing systems. Installs, inspects, maintains, troubleshoots, repairs, and modifies electrical distribution systems and components above and below 600 volts, airfield lighting systems, and fire alarms. * Maintains, and repairs heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVAC/R) systems, combustion equipment, and industrial air compressors. * Conducts Red X Inspections on applicable work performed and validate all related discrepancies for completeness and accuracy. * Performs operator maintenance and service inspections on shop equipment and tools. Complies with all company OSHA, AFOSH and customer safety requirements. * Strictly adheres to all security requirements. Performs other duties as required. Qualifications and Experience: * Applicants must have at least ten (10) years of specialized experience as a USAF 3E0X2, 3E4X1, 3E0X1, 3E1Xl or equivalent civilian/sister service qualifications. * Experience may be substituted with ten (10) years USAF 2A6X2, or equivalent civilian/sister service qualifications. * CFC/HCFC certification. * Must have experience with USAF maintenance training procedures and tracking. * Must be able to speak, read, write, and express thoughts clearly in oral and written English. Current valid U.S. Driver's License. * High school graduate or equivalent. Page 2 of 2 Working Conditions: * Environment ranges from office-like to hangar and flight line.
