The Role

As a Surgical Support Technician (SST) - Surgical Care Riverside OR at UVA Health, you will:

• Set up and break down operating rooms to ensure readiness for each surgical case

• Clean and disinfect OR surfaces and equipment following infection control standards

• Sort and dispose of contaminated materials per hospital guidelines

• Stock supplies, maintain equipment, and support efficient room turnover

• Work cooperatively with the surgical team in a high acuity, time sensitive environment
