About the Position The Professional Development Coach is a role designed to strategically plan, direct, and manage the professional growth of classroom, school, and district leaders with the goal of impacting student learning. In this role, you will exercise independence and decision-making in the overall operations and direction of the program. This position serves as a peer partner, resource manager, innovator, and change agent. The role is also intentionally flexible so that it can be tailored to the unique needs of any school community. About Us The Office of the Maricopa County School Superintendent is led by the elected Superintendent. The office provides statutory services related toschool governing board elections, bond and override elections, appointments, school finance, and maintaining homeschool and private school records. The Superintendent also oversees theMaricopa County accommodation district, ensuring educational opportunities for at-risk students, including those in detention schools. Proud to Offer

We Require
Three years of experience in education program implementation and administration Master's degree in Education or related field An equivalent combination of post-secondary education and/or job-related experience may substitute for the minimum qualifications

Develop, implement, and direct a specialized Professional Development program that improves education outcomes and ensures participation opportunities for educators and district leaders Develop and implement a plan for collecting and analyzing programmatic data to measure program success, goal attainment, and areas for continuous improvement based on research and best practices Design and deliver high-quality professional development resources, programs, conference presentations, seminars, and workshops Mentor school and district-level leaders on improving student discipline, school culture, and effective PLCs Conduct school walkthroughs to evaluate program effectiveness and assist in developing strategies to improve educational programs or implement new ones Continually research emerging tools, pedagogies, and policies to model research-based instructional strategies and innovative practices Identify and leverage individual team member strengths to create distributed leadership opportunities.
