**About the Opportunity**

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate individual to consult with product teams on designing and enhancing educational tools. In this role, you will be at the forefront of pedagogical innovation, evaluating the quality of learning products and providing expert recommendations from an educator's perspective. Your work will ensure that new features and AI-powered systems are not only technologically advanced but also deeply rooted in best practices for teaching and learning. **What You'll Do**

* Consult with product teams developing education features, offering strategic improvements aligned with learning science best practices.

* Contribute to the prototyping of new education features, including expert prompt writing and editing for AI applications.

* Rigorously evaluate AI tutoring systems and other educational products, providing critical feedback and recommendations.

**What You'll Bring (Must-Have)**

* 4+ years of experience as a high school or college educator or tutor in science or math, delivered either in-person or online.

* A college degree or equivalent in education, instructional design, computer science, or a related field.

* Foundational project management skills, encompassing planning, task prioritization, and effective communication.

* Proven experience in prompt engineering, specifically using generative AI to enhance the productivity and efficacy of learning experiences.

* Proficiency with standard office productivity suites and collaborative tools for document creation, data management, and presentations.

* Excellent communication, facilitation skills, and creative problem-solving abilities.

**Bonus Points (Nice-to-Have)**

* Advanced education in pedagogical principles and learning sciences research.

* Knowledge of computer science concepts, including large language models.

* Prior consulting experience with education technology products.

* Experience in conducting professional development for educators.

* Data analysis skills.
