Security Officer Full Time Patrol Duty

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Duty in Yorktown, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier hospitality location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Provide exceptional customer service by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a hotel and resort location.
• Respond to guest, visitor, and/or staff concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, courteous, and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, corridors, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and activity across the location, document observations, and report security-related incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or policy issues according to site procedures.
• Support a welcoming environment by assisting with directions, answering general questions, and communicating professionally with guests, visitors, staff, and/or first responders when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
