Job Description




As a Security Officer Concierge in Hartford, CT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Front Desk Officer in a commercial real estate location, serving as the first point of contact for tenants, guests, and staff. In this stationary role, you will help support security-related operations through visitor management, access control, clear communication, and exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

    Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and front desk support at a commercial real estate location.
  • Monitor lobby and reception activity, verify visitor credentials, issue access badges where applicable, and document arrivals, departures, and/or deliveries in accordance with site policies.
  • Respond to incidents, service requests, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to building management and/or emergency contacts when appropriate.
  • Support daily front desk operations by answering questions, assisting with directions, maintaining accurate logs and reports, and helping to deter unauthorized access through consistent security-related presence and observation.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess 1+ years of security-related experience.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
