- In this role, you will ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of nitrogen producing plants at customer sites
- You will solve field site issues and operate air separation plants with minimal supervision
- Interact with customers across various production plant types, providing guidance, support, and clear communication
- Maintain safety, quality, and compliance activities to uphold high standards
- Also, you will perform routine maintenance and calibrations on compressors, gas analyzers, and control systems
- Manage time effectively to complete operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and diagnosing plant problems
- Coordinate contractors and resources to support plant activities, audits, and administrative requirements
- And you will drive efficiency through strategic planning and project management, ensuring smooth plant operations
What makes you great
- You hold a high school diploma with an associate degree in a technical field preferred, supported by two to five years of operations experience in air separation or similar process control environments
- Demonstrate expertise in instrumentation, control, and general maintenance of industrial equipment
- You can apply proficiency in mechanical and electrical maintenance, including compressors, with military engineering experience considered an asset
- Exhibit strong safety awareness and strict adherence to procedures while troubleshooting, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing equipment
- Understand process control schematics and communicate technical information clearly in verbal and written forms
- Utilize computer skills, including Microsoft applications and process control systems, combined with strong organizational and time management abilities
- Meet physical requirements such as confined space entry, climbing, lifting up to fifty pounds, and working at heights
- You must show flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, holidays, and call-in coverage, ensuring a reliable and safety-focused presence during critical operations
- Bring familiarity with procurement processes and quality control analyzers, thriving in dynamic conditions involving service truck driving, office tasks, and physical activity
