What you will enjoy doing*
- You will conduct thorough inspections of mechanical systems, safety features, and overall vehicle condition to ensure reliability and roadworthiness
- And you will diagnose and resolve issues in engines, transmissions, suspension, braking, and electrical systems using structured troubleshooting
- Perform timely repairs and replacements on tires, brakes, bearings, fuel systems, hydraulic systems, and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to minimize downtime
- You will execute preventative maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, fluid checks, and precise lubrication to extend equipment life
- Test vehicle systems after repairs to confirm functionality and compliance with company standards and regulations
- In this role, you will also maintain accurate service logs, repair records, and inspection documentation
- Communicate repair recommendations to management and schedule warranty work with equipment manufacturers
- Uphold a clean, organized work environment while strictly following safety protocols and handling tools, equipment, and hazardous materials properly
What makes you great
- Uphold rigorous safety protocols to protect teammates and customers while maintaining an organized, hazard-free workspace
- You bring at least three years of commercial vehicle maintenance experience covering engines, electrical systems, hydraulics, suspensions, and braking systems
- You hold Automotive Service Excellence certifications or equivalent expertise and actively pursue ongoing training to stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies
- Communicate clearly with management and drivers, deliver precise documentation, and take responsibility for proactive recommendations to prevent downtime
- You can manage multiple work orders efficiently, prioritize preventative maintenance, and ensure quality through thorough testing and verification against company and regulatory standards
- Preferably hold a Commercial Driver License Class A or Class B
