Description and Requirements

Role Overview

As Senior Technical Product Manager for Hybrid Cloud Compliance & Sovereignty, you will lead the strategy, roadmap, and execution for data sovereignty, regulatory compliance, and governance capabilities across Lenovo's Hybrid Cloud and Agentic AI platform portfolio.

We are seeking a product leader who has actively architected, driven, and launched productized compliance capabilities-not someone who simply participated in audit readiness or filled out compliance questionnaires. You will own the vision for embedding continuous control monitoring, automated data residency guardrails, and audit-ready sovereignty mechanisms directly into our cloud infrastructure, enabling enterprise and public sector customers to safely deploy AI models and agentic workflows across sovereign and highly regulated environments.

What You Will Do (Key Responsibilities)

Sovereignty Strategy & Productized Compliance

  • Drive the Compliance & Sovereignty Roadmap: Lead the vision for data sovereignty, localized data residency, and regulatory governance frameworks across Lenovo's Hybrid Cloud, edge compute, and Agentic AI platforms.
  • Productize Compliance Primitives: Transform complex regulatory mandates (e.g., EU AI Act, FedRAMP, GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2, ISO 27001) into scalable, automated software capabilities-such as sovereign enclaves, automated lineage tracking, immutable audit trails, and localized data routing.
  • Agentic & Data Pipeline Controls: Architect fine-grained policy controls and data-access boundaries for AI agents, model training pipelines, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) vector stores operating in sovereign cloud environments.

Customer & Market Focus

  • Engage CISOs, CCOs & Regulatory Leaders: Partner directly with enterprise security leaders, Chief Compliance Officers, and regulatory teams to validate real-world threat/compliance models and translate legal requirements into actionable product specifications.
  • Monetize Governance Offerings: Define, package, and ship productized governance and sovereignty capabilities as high-value modules within Lenovo's hybrid cloud portfolio.

Execution & Cross-Functional Leadership

  • End-to-End Product Ownership: Own capabilities across the full product lifecycle-from initial threat and regulatory modeling through technical PRDs, engineering execution, launch, and global scaling.
  • Cross-Functional Orchestration: Drive technical alignment across Cloud Engineering, Cybersecurity, AI Research, Legal, and Compliance teams to deliver audit-ready, enterprise-grade cloud software.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of product management experience in cloud infrastructure, enterprise platforms, or cybersecurity.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Deep understanding of governance, compliance, and policy frameworks
  • Demonstrated track record of translating complex cloud and AI concepts into compelling product roadmaps and go-to-market strategies
  • Experience working with AI and agentic solutions, with the ability to partner effectively with engineering teams to deliver enterprise-grade capabilities
  • Strong understanding of hybrid and multi-cloud concepts and business drivers (understanding of how public and private cloud solutions integrate to serve enterprise needs)
  • Experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP at a conceptual and business level); familiarity with container and orchestration concepts is a plus
  • Proven ability to define and deliver products from concept through launch, with a focus on customer outcomes and business impact
  • Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills

This remote role offers the flexibility to be home-based anywhere in the United States. If you're near our Chicago or Raleigh offices, we follow a friendly hybrid model with three days a week in the office-great for collaboration and connection!
