Our client is seeking a Service Designer to join our dynamic team and help shape the future of customer experience across small business, mid-market, and enterprise segments. They are looking for a service designer who can create journey maps and service blueprints that capture end-to-end customer experience including layering in quant and qual data to help clarify key moments that matter and opportunities. This role is critical in bridging gaps between business lines, mapping customer journeys, and ensuring seamless integration during their merger with another company. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to uncover insights, design strategies, and create compelling narratives that drive meaningful change.
Key Responsibilities: * Journey Mapping: Develop and refine end-to-end customer journeys for small business and enterprise customers, identifying pain points and opportunities for improvement. * Customer Experience Strategy: Analyze differences between small business and enterprise experiences, ensuring tailored solutions for each segment. * Storytelling & Strategy Decks: Translate research and insights into clear, actionable strategies and presentations for stakeholders. * Customer Research: Conduct desk research and, where needed, gather evidence through direct customer feedback and interviews. * Process Analysis: Track customer buying flows, identify drop-off points, and align findings with product performance. * Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with internal teams including web analytics, digital product, and design to build alignment and improve overall experience. * Change Enablement: Partner with journey leaders to implement changes that enhance customer experience. UX (user experience) designers are responsible for improving the user's experience of using a product, such as making it easier to use and more enjoyable. This typically applies to computer hardware or software. This role is for a UX service designer. Service designers create journey maps and service blueprints to build alignment across teams to create better customer and employee experiences. A portfolio of previous work may be necessary to be hired for this position, and UX designers work with developers, analysts, and other designers to determine changes and preferences in the market. UX designers may design and create wireframes for products, as well as develop and test prototypes, and actual end-users are often used to determine whether a product can be used as intended. After testing is complete, modifications should be introduced and more testing will be carried out until the product reaches its best form. Much of this work is done on teams, though there are also individual responsibilities which include meeting time-constraints. After the product has been introduced to the market, it must then be evaluated for success and feedback from customers, and modifications may be made for future editions. Experience with Figma, Confluence, and Adobe Suite is necessary for this position, and a bachelor's degree in graphic design or a computer-related field is generally required, though experience may be substituted for education in some cases. 5+ years of experience. Travel is very unlikely, but there may be an opportunity to travel once this year. This is a 6 month W2 contract that will be onsite 4 days a week in Englewood, CO. Looking to pay $65-$80 per hour pending experience. *Job Type & Location*This is a Contract position based out of Englewood, CO. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $85.00/hr.
