Description
Adult Residential Support Professional - 2nd Shift

Location: Grandstone/Eastwood | Appleton, WI
Staff are assigned a primary home base but may work at both facilities as needed. The two locations are just 8 minutes apart.

Schedule: Full-Time | 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM | 40 hours/week | Every other weekend required

Starting Pay: $17.75/hour

Lutheran Social Services of Wisconsin & Upper Michigan (LSS) is looking for compassionate, dependable individuals to join our team as Adult Residential Support Professionals. In this role, you'll provide support, encouragement, and guidance to adults experiencing mental health and/or substance use challenges while helping them build the skills needed to live more independently.


About Grandstone/Eastwood

Grandstone and Eastwood are two 8-bed Community Based Residential Facilities (CBRFs) that provide 24-hour care for adults in crisis. Our team creates a safe, recovery-focused environment where residents receive support with daily living skills, medication management, transportation, educational groups, and individualized recovery goals.


What You'll Do


  • Provide compassionate, recovery-focused support to residents



  • Help de-escalate crisis situations using non-restrictive techniques



  • Assist with daily living skills, medication administration, and basic healthcare needs



  • Facilitate educational and recovery-based group activities



  • Transport residents to appointments and community resources



  • Document resident progress and maintain confidential records



  • Encourage independence through skill-building and positive role modeling



  • Assist with household tasks, including light cleaning and grocery shopping



  • Participate in team meetings and ongoing training

Qualifications


  • High School Diploma or GED required



  • Experience in mental health, crisis services, or human services preferred



  • College coursework in Social Work, Psychology, or Human Services is a plus



  • Valid driver's license preferred



  • Reliable transportation required



  • Ability to pass background, caregiver, and medical screenings
