NOW HIRING: Data Specialist I (W2 ONLY) Hybrid (1-2 days onsite) $24-$27/hr \| Full-Time Contract (5 months) Summary We're hiring an entry-level Data Specialist I to support provider data management for a healthcare organization. This role focuses on data entry, data configuration, and ensuring accuracy within provider databases. It's a great opportunity for someone looking to build experience in healthcare data and analytics. Key Responsibilities * Perform high-volume data entry and provider data configuration * Configure new providers using credentialing reports, rosters, and internal systems * Verify and audit provider data (Tax IDs, NPIs, affiliations, etc.) * Collect and validate documentation (W9s, provider records, etc.) * Conduct provider outreach (phone/email/fax) for updates and follow-up * Support returned mail process and update provider addresses * Assist with data cleanup projects and maintain data integrity * Escalate issues and document findings as needed Top Skills - Must Haves * 1+ year of data entry or data management experience * Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, data organization) * Experience working with large datasets and high accuracy requirements * Familiarity with data configuration or database systems * High attention to detail and strong typing/10-key accuracy Nice-to-Have Skills * Healthcare or provider data experience * Experience with data auditing or compliance environments * Exposure to managed care or insurance systems Work Environment * Hybrid schedule (1-2 days onsite, remainder remote) * Fast-paced, team-oriented environment * Works cross-functionally with provider services and internal teams What You Bring * Strong attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies * Ability to learn complex processes and retain information * Strong organizational and multitasking skills * Clear written and verbal communication * Positive attitude and adaptability in changing priorities Why This Role Matters This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate provider data, which directly impacts patient access, billing accuracy, and overall healthcare operations.
