Sr. Software Engineer (Forward Deployed Engineer)

TheSr Software Engineer - Forward DeployedEngineeris responsible fordata and AI developmentusing a variety of technologies and tools to build impactful software solutions. The scope of this job includes building andoptimizingcomprehensive solutions that prioritizeend-user teammatesefficiency and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner and consult withWellSky'steammatestoidentifyareas where efficiencies can be builtusing Artificial Intelligence.
• Lead the design and architecture of major systems and services, and ensure solutions are scalable, reliable, maintainable, and aligned with business needs.
• Collaborate withbusiness leaders and teammates to define and prioritize technical requirements that meet business objectives.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure sustained quality and reliability ofsolutions and act as a go-to expert byidentifyingand resolving complex, high-priority issues in both development and production environments.
• Actively contribute tosolutionreviews, provide constructive feedback on design and implementation, andprovidetechnical guidance to other engineers to elevate skills, productivity, and overall effectiveness.
• Drive innovation by evaluating and implementingnew technologies, methodologies, and AI capabilities that improve team efficiency, software performance, and development processes.
• Ensurethe solutionsmeetsfunctional and performance requirements, advocate for high-qualitysoftware solution, and ensure rigorous testing processes, including automated unit tests, integration tests, and other testing frameworks.
• Design and implement data pipelines to centralize operational data, enabling team members to efficiently access andutilizebusiness information for informed decision-making.
• Promote awareness of AI at WellSky by sharing information about AI and providing training for teammates on AI solutions and practices.
• Perform other job duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience
• At least4-6years relevant work experience
• Proficient in liaising with business stakeholders to gain comprehensive insights into business processes and develop tailored data and AI solutions.
• Capable oflearning and implementingnew technologiesfor deployment at an enterprise scale.
• Ability to build data pipelines usingPythonand other data ingestion tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge about Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Built or deployed LLM- or generative-powered systemsusing
• Job Expectations:
• Healthcare industry experience
