You will lead recruiting strategy and execution for the Philadelphia office and assigned campus sources, helping attract, assess, cultivate, and onboard distinctive talent for McKinsey & Company.
You will collaborate with Partners, Professional Development, consultants, source recruiters, and the broader North America recruiting team to develop and execute recruiting strategies across attraction, assessment, cultivation, interview scheduling, offer support, onboarding, and summer internship programming. You will manage candidate relationships end-to-end and plan events such as office presentations, interview days, dinners, office visits, campus presentations, small group events, and interview workshops. You will also use recruiting data and year-end analysis to identify opportunities to improve results.
Your work will help ensure the Philadelphia office and assigned campus sources attract and hire the best talent to meet our recruiting priorities, while creating a thoughtful, responsive, and personalized experience for candidates as they get to know McKinsey & Company.
You will be based in our Philadelphia office as part of our North America recruiting team. This team partners with consultants, leaders, and the broader recruiting community to deliver the office and campus recruiting strategy, build strong candidate relationships, and continue innovating our recruiting practices.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
  • University degree required
  • 2+ years of recruiting experience, with a preference for experience in hiring for professional services and/or technical roles
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment; growth mindset and willingness to dive in where priorities require leadership
  • Strong strategic thinker - ability to see and manage to "the big picture" while driving impact on specific initiatives
  • Strong analytical ability, including high degree of comfort with Excel & PowerPoint
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills with the ability to build great relationships with candidates, consultants at all levels, and recruiting colleagues
  • Proactive problem solver capable of identifying issues and generating solutions; desire and energy to continuously improve recruiting processes
  • Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple streams of work independently; close attention to detail
  • Demonstrated initiative, judgment and maturity; track record as self-starter; mindful of external reputation; discreet, respectful and caring with confidential information
  • Flexibility to deal with last minute changes; ability to remain calm under pressure; comfortable working with minimal direction and flexibility to work overtime as required
  • Ability to have flexible schedule and travel to campus as needed
  • Ability to look beyond own responsibilities to help team members with time sensitive deadlines as needed

      To help you understand what you can expect, the salary range for new joiners in this role in United States, including all office locations where the job may be performed, is $82,600 - $103,200 USD gross per year. This reflects our best estimate of the lowest to highest
      [salary/hourly wages] for this role at the time of this posting, ensuring you have a clear picture right from the start, though it's important
      to remember that actual salaries may vary. Factors like your office location, your unique blend of experience and skills, start date and our current
      organizational needs all play a part in determining the final figure. Certain roles are also eligible for bonuses, subject to McKinsey's discretion
      and based on factors such as individual and/or organizational performance.
