CT Technologist

This role performs a variety of computed tomography (CT) procedures. Responsibilities include:

• Performing computed tomography techniques and examinations.
• Conducting a variety of CT procedures including biopsies, cardiac CT, and post-processing.
• Producing CT scans for diagnostic interpretation.
• Operating CT equipment and selecting technical factors and positioning/safety devices.
• Ensuring proper identification on images, including both identification and demographic information 100% of the time.
• Documenting all related data.
• Providing radiation protection for patients, families, staff, the general public, and self.
• Identifying, processing, transferring, and archiving patient exams, including exam records, images, and patient demographics.
• Maintaining the integrity and security of the radiology information systems.
• Resolving and escalating complex issues.
• Orienting and training fellow staff technologists.
• Developing and delivering training and in-service presentations.
• Being subject to on-call status, including weekends and holidays.
• Performing other shifts as assigned.
• Carrying out all other duties as assigned.

• Required Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Technical Diploma from a Radiology Program required.

• Certification in Computed Tomography (CT) from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) is required.
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification issued through an organization that requires hands-on instructor-led psychomotor skills verification (e.g., American Heart Association or Red Cross) is required.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience is required.
• Pediatric experience required.
• EPIC experience required.
• Siemens experience required.

• Intermediate knowledge of computed tomography imaging.
• Intermediate knowledge of picture archiving and communication systems (PACS).
• Intermediate knowledge of radiology information systems.
• Intermediate knowledge of HIPAA regulations.
• Basic proficiency with office software (Microsoft Office), including word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Strong organizational skills.

• Travel Tech #1: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 10am - 6:30 pm
• Travel Tech #2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday 10am - 6:30 pm
