What to Expect
This TPM will serve as the operational backbone of our Vehicle Software organization, tackling high-impact work that doesn't fit neatly into any single function. You'll build sustainable processes with managers & engineers, drive Palo Alto site projects, handle access requests, support risk & compliance audits, and deliver lightweight executive support as needed. You'll work directly with VPs, directors, and senior managers while representing the organization in both internal & external settings. This is not a typical TPM role; ideal candidates thrive in ambiguity, learn quickly, exercise strong judgement, and are energized by building operational muscle at the intersection of fast-paced strategy & execution.
What You'll Do
- Build, refine, document, & cross-train on processes in collaboration with Vehicle Software leadership to boost efficiency and organizational resilience
- Own Palo Alto site operations as primary point-of-contact (space planning, construction coordination, workplace design, and facilities management)
- Manage access requests, permissions, and related systems
- Execute established processes while proactively identifying gaps, aligning stakeholders, securing resources, and implementing improvements to reduce operational burden
- Adopt AI tools & automation to minimize manual work, balance costs, and improve signal-to-noise ratios
- Provide lightweight leadership support (~10% of your time) including calendar coordination, travel/expense logistics, and ad-hoc requests with discretion and sound judgment
- Serve as an executive-facing representative in cross-functional, external, and event planning/support settings
- Support organizational data processing & analysis needs
What You'll Bring
- Experience working directly within highly technical organizations and driving alignment across diverse stakeholder groups
- Ability to work through ambiguous scenarios (with conflicting information), formulate clear problem statements, and break those problems down into solvable parts
- Comfortable with Jira, Confluence, GitHub, and AI tools
- Demonstrated skills in one or more of the following areas: Localization, translation, technical writing, content editing, operations or fleet management, on-call rotation support, software release management, or related
