Director of Project Management - Water

The Director of Project Management - Water Capacity is responsible for overseeing the activities (coordinate project timelines, scopes, and budgets) of all Engineering Project Managers assigned to core water expansion. This role is also accountable for ensuring the teams follow our PMO process to optimize our front-end design and execution of these capacity addition project. This position will report directly to the VP of Project Management.

Essential Functions

  • Manage Team of Project Managers
    • Reviews project plans across the group, ensure appropriate identification of key cross team/group dependencies, operation requirements, and install discipline around early and continuous risk identification.
    • Assist in the equitable distribution of work by coordinating with other departments and employees as required to assign resources to meet near term and long term needs.
  • Manage PMO Process
    • Maintain governance over standards of work for project management activities and processes.
    • Ensure best practices, key metrics, documentation and necessary training established by the PMO team is followed by all project managers within Niagara.
  • Overseeing Water Capacity Projects
    • Manage a portfolio of critical initiatives throughout the organization involving technology, business process, and installation of water capacity projects that span diverse geographies.
  • Develop Project Scopes, Budgets, and Timelines
    • Ensure project execution, monitor budgetary impacts and manage organizational risk
  • Conflict Resolution with Contractors
    • Responsible for creating strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning; transition, change and program management.
  • Equipment procurement
    • Support the commercialization and procurement teams to identify, qualify and manage OEMs throughout the
  • Travel requirement of approximately 65%

  • Minimum Qualifications:
    • 10+ Years - Experience in Field or similar manufacturing environment
    • 6 Years - Experience in Position
    • 6 Years - Experience managing people/projects

Typical Compensation Range

Pay Rate Type: Salary $178,481.04 - $249,873.47 / Yearly Bonus Target: 20% Annual
