Job Summary
The Senior Manager, Enrollment Marketing and Communications, plays a key role in supporting Dallas College's strategic enrollment goals through the development, execution and optimization of integrated marketing and communication strategies across multiple channels to engage prospective students, current students, their families, and key influencers. This position collaborates with various departments within Student Success as well as stakeholders across the college to ensure consistent, accurate, and student-centered messaging that aligns with the college's brand and mission. The senior manager serves as the writer, editor, and primary point of contact for enrollment-focused email communications, website content, direct mail and printed recruiting materials, and the monthly Student Success e-newsletter. This role is part of the Student Success and Program Marketing team and reports to the ADC for Student Success and Program Marketing. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Lead the strategic planning, development, execution, and continuous improvement of enrollment-oriented communications and marketing initiatives that advance Dallas College's enrollment, retention, and completion objectives Collaborate closely with internal partners in Student Success, Academics, External Affairs and other divisions across the college to ensure all enrollment communications are aligned, on-brand and effectively sequenced across the student journey. Plan, develop, and execute multichannel marketing and communication campaigns (email, web, social media, print, etc.) targeting prospective students, current students, families and community/industry partners at multiple points within the enrollment funnel. Maximize engagement and conversion through effective messaging strategy and content development. Define key performance indicators (KPIs), monitor analytics, generate reports and use insights to guide optimization of strategy and tactics. Provide strategic communication support, timelines, stakeholder alignment, and campaign coordination for enrollment-focused partnerships and initiatives. Manage communication timelines, project plans, budgets and resources to ensure timely and quality delivery of all enrollment materials and initiatives. Support the Dallas College brand, ensuring consistency of messaging, tone and voice across all enrollment communications. Stay informed of emerging trends in higher education enrollment marketing and communications, recommending innovative approaches and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Perform other duties not listed as assigned. Required Dallas College Professional Development Hours per Academic Year.
People leaders are required to complete additional 16 hours of leadership development
Minimum and Preferred - Education, Experience, and/or Certifications Required Qualifications for Role
Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, public relations, journalism or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Official transcripts required. Five (5) years of professional experience in communications, marketing or public relations, preferably in education, enrollment management or the nonprofit sector. Experience leveraging digital marketing tools or CRM systems and analytics platforms to optimize communication performance. Familiarity with AP Style and professional writing standards. Ability to travel between Dallas College campuses and partner locations as needed. Must have valid drivers license. Other Preferred Qualifications for Role: - Experience in higher education marketing, particularly enrollment marketing.
- Experience working in Salesforce and Marketing Cloud.
- Bilingual or multilingual preferred.

Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to adapt content and tone for varied audiences and communication channels. Demonstrated ability developing and executing strategic marketing and communications plans, including campaign planning, message development and content strategy. Proven experience in strategic planning, managing timelines, resource allocation and coordination of cross-functional initiatives. Experience in communications, marketing or public relations, preferably within the education or nonprofit sectors. Deep knowledge of customer journeys with expertise in crafting message strategies for a multichannel environment (digital, social media, print, email, web, etc.). Proven ability to design and execute integrated marketing and communications strategies to support enrollment funnels. Demonstrated experience collaborating cross-functionally and working with multiple stakeholders at all levels to ensure consistent, accurate, and timely messaging. Excellent writing, editing and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for unique audiences including prospective students, families, current students, institutional partners, and adult learners. Strong analytical and data interpretation skills. Ability to review campaign and communication performance, draw actionable insights, and adjust strategy accordingly. Highly organized and self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Ability to lead or influence teams or cross-functional efforts to achieve communication goals. Familiarity with CRMs and digital marketing platforms.
