What to Expect
As an Associate Program Manager on the Energy Fleet team, you will provide the operational backbone for a growing fleet program spanning multiple teams, geographies, and data systems. This role sits at the intersection of fleet operations, data, and program coordination, which meansowning the day-to-day execution that keeps vehicle programs moving, stakeholders informed, and systemsaccurate. You will manage tactical EV program coordination,maintainthe Fleetsystemsas the team's central knowledge hub, monitor telematics data for safety andutilizationinsights, and serve as the primary intake point for data and automation requests. You will partner daily with EHS, Finance, GSM, Data Analytics, Engineering, and external vendorstoensure operations are efficient, documented, andaudit ready. A wide degree of ownership and self-motivation is expected. This role is well-suited for someone who is highly organized, comfortable working in data and systems, and energized by operational complexity, allwhile advancing Tesla's missionof building a world of amazing abundance.
What You'll Do
- Lead end-to-end EV program tactical coordination including vehicle onboarding, upfit scheduling, maintenance and recall tracking, and internal logistics across teams and geographies
- Serve as the primary point of contact with fleet vendors on vehicle order submissions and follow-ups, accident and maintenance events, recalls, and vendor performance
- Monitor telematics platforms to identify safety trends, utilization patterns, compliance gaps, and anomalies; distribute recurring reports to managers and leadership and present findings
- Serve as the intake point for ad-hoc and recurring data and automation requests; triage, prioritize, track, and execute deliverables with clear stakeholder communication throughout
- Own and maintain fleet systems such as SharePoint and OneDrive as the team's central hub for SOPs, governance documents, dashboards, and program resources, enforcing consistent organization, version control, and access management
- Track, analyze, and visualize key performance metrics using data from multiple systems to generate actionable insights, surface coaching opportunities, and support program decisions
- Drive program hygiene and governance: own meeting cadences, documentation, action item tracking, quarterly allocation reviews, accident prevention coordination, and stakeholder communications at all levels of the organization
What You'll Bring
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in program coordination, fleet operations, data analysis, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; able to interpret complex information and communicate it clearly to individuals with diverse professional backgrounds
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with experience leading cross-functional programs and engaging stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail and organizational discipline
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools including SharePoint, Excel, Teams, and Outlook
- Experience with telematics platforms or fleet management systems preferred; familiarity with EV programs, mobility, or logistics operations a plus
- Strong understanding of business processes, system architecture, and integration strategies
