As a Security Officer Access Control in San Bernardino, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will help manage access control, monitor activity, and support security-related operations through strong communication and customer service. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter incidents while assisting employees, visitors, and drivers. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by following site-specific access control procedures, credential checks, visitor processing, and other security-related policies at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or delivery documentation, and help to control access for authorized personnel, vendors, and transportation partners.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including perimeter areas, gates, parking areas, and dock access points, noting and reporting unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
• Document daily activities, access events, and incident details in required logs and reports, and support orderly traffic flow for vehicles entering and leaving the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
