As a Security Officer Screening Escort in Kansas City, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a leading tech location, where you will help monitor entry activity, support screening procedures, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will remain visible, assist with routine site observations, and help with security-related concerns while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, care for people, teamwork, and integrity.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a fast-paced technology location.
• Perform screening duties for employees, visitors, contractors, and/or deliveries, including checking credentials, verifying access permissions, and documenting activity in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Monitor entry points, screening equipment, and high-traffic areas to help support authorized access and help to deter prohibited items and/or unauthorized activity.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, as assigned, while observing environmental conditions, reporting concerns, and following post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
