Aviatron, Inc. takes pride in its' key role of providing leadership in the use of qualityParts Manufacturer Approval (PMA)& Designated Engineering Representative (DER) parts on Air Cycle Machines for the largest Regional Jet Operators in the world. And in using quality PMA parts for the Air Cycle Machine's rotating group on the CRJ & Dash 8 aircraft, we have achieved significant cost savings for our customers in the process without sacrificing quality or reliability. We endeavor to increase the availability of quality PMA parts to keep our customers' costs low.

Our capabilities encompass a wide range of manufacturers and aircraft components. Our overhaul facility is supported by dedicated and knowledgeable staff who strive to provide our customers with superior service and cost-effective solutions.

We understand how important it is to keep our customers flying.

Base salary range: $60,000-$75,000 hourly/annually, plus bonus potential, comprehensive health/dental/vision/Life and disability insurance, 401(k) match up to 6%, and Vacation, sick days, flexible work.

Overview of the Position:

Responsibility includes MROS and product supplies are adequately stocked and ordered. Negotiate with vendors and develop good working relationships with an array of suppliers in order ensure timely delivery of purchased products. In addition, store and maintain all required historical negotiation records.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Monitor inventory levels (availability of product) to ensure required stock position
  • Research and source suppliers
  • Evaluate products and services
  • Review quotations and negotiate contracts
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders, based on customer demand
  • Manage Supplier Open Order Books
  • Track/Expedite Purchase Orders
  • Evaluate Supplier Performance
  • Collaborate with Product Management to facilitate supplier selection through competitive bidding, leveraging business acumen and relationships, sourcing analysis, and negotiation skills.
  • Ensure buys are aligning with the product line management and company inventory goals to produce appropriate margins
  • Identify, interpret and adjust supply chain settings within the MRP system

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with suppliers and management
  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal teams
  • Highly organized
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in purchase orders and compliance with company policies
  • Microsoft Office experience, ie; Outlook, Excel, Word
  • Data entry experience
  • Ability to make decisions under pressure
  • Analytical Skills -- understand and calculate price breaks
  • Strong negotiation skills to secure the best price and terms from suppliers
  • Proficiency with procurement software and tools, like ERP/MRP systems (preferable)

Education / Experience Requirements: High School Diploma, 0-2 years in a supply chain role or similar experience
