As a Security Officer Access Management in Chemung, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal in a healthcare location where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and help manage access for patients, visitors, and staff. You will conduct routine patrols of assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Monitor entrances and restricted areas, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access in a courteous, professional manner.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and communicating with site contacts when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for unusual activity, access issues, and/or conditions that may require a security-related response.
• Support lobby and entry point operations by assisting with visitor processing, directing foot traffic, and reinforcing site access protocols while maintaining a professional presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
