This is a per diem position.

Summary:
The Pharmacy Technician role will function in a training capacity, working alongside a trainer/mentor while completing their job responsibilities in their respective pharmacy practice area. The role will assist pharmacists, other pharmacy technicians, and the care team in the storage, distribution, preparation, and handling of medications within MaineHealth. The Pharmacy Technician will only perform competencies that they have completed in their knowledge-based courses and on the job training and are qualified to perform alongside a technician trainer/mentor or pharmacist.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  2. License/Certifications: Current or eligible for applicable state(s) license as a Pharmacy Technician.
  3. Experience: None required
  4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: Proficient computer skills

The pay range for this position is $20.68to $25.10 per hour.

Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
