About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Developer with deep OmniStudio expertise to join our engineering team supporting mission-critical enterprise systems. In this role, you will play a critical part in designing, building, and scaling modern digital infrastructure that powers large-scale readiness, training, and tactical operations. You will be responsible for replacing rigid legacy systems with high-velocity, low-code, and pro-code Salesforce architectures that serve thousands of personnel in high-tempo operational environments.

You will act as a collaborative builder, bridging technical execution with strategic mission alignment. You will:

  • Engage & Analyze: Meet with clients to determine business, functional, and technical requirements and actively participate in application design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
  • Support the Lifecycle: Participate in collaborative efforts to develop and execute system testing, end-user training, and technical documentation.
  • Deliver Tangibles: Maintain a proactive, hands-on approach to producing high-quality deliverables, including design blueprints, progress/status reports, and project plans.
  • Drive Optimization: Proactively engage in continuous improvement efforts across application design, ongoing support structures, and team practice development.
  • Resolve Issues: Provide reliable technical assistance and end-user troubleshooting for bug fixes, system enhancements, and "how-to" user support.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Build, configure, and maintain scalable custom objects, custom fields, validation rules, formulas, and record types tailored to the unique business rules of the assigned capability area.
  • Design and develop complex, high-performance Flow-based automations, including record-triggered flows, interactive screen flows, reusable subflows, before/after-save execution contexts, and Apex invocable actions to ensure efficient CPU utilization and governor limit compliance.
  • Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive OmniStudio solutions-including OmniScripts, FlexCards, Integration Procedures, and DataMappers-to configure complex, end-to-end digital processes, automate high-volume data transformations, and deliver seamless, guided user experiences.
  • Build responsive, pixel-perfect Lightning Web Components (LWC) for user-facing views, custom dashboards, and interactive UI features.
  • Write clean, performant, and well-documented Apex classes, triggers, and asynchronous processes (Batch, Queueable) when declarative tools reach their architectural limits.
  • Optimize all configurations and code to support sub-second transaction thresholds, ensuring applications degrade gracefully in limited-bandwidth or disconnected (DDIL) mobile environments while strictly adhering to secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC) practices, DoD Zero Trust, and NIST 800-171 security boundaries.
  • Actively participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and user engagement sessions within a two-week sprint cadence governed by strict sprint gate quality controls.
  • Contribute to robust, comprehensive technical and system-admin documentation to ensure platform maintainability.

Required Qualifications:

  • 4-5+ years of hands-on experience developing on the Salesforce platform, with a proven track record of shipping production-ready applications.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Strong, direct experience building with OmniStudio (formerly Vlocity) components. Must be proficient in transforming complex data schemas using DataMappers and orchestrating server-side logic via Integration Procedures.
  • Practical experience working in a fast-paced, two-week sprint cadence with defined sprint gate quality controls.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen. Eligibility to obtain a Public Trust and DoD Secret security clearance is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience developing applications for federal agencies or DoD clients.
  • Experience working on Salesforce Government Cloud, Gov Cloud Plus, or an OpsEA-compliant platform.
  • Experience with CRM Analytics (formerly Tableau CRM) dataflows, recipes, and interactive dashboard creation.
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I or II
  • Salesforce Certified OmniStudio Developer or Consultant
  • Active U.S. Government security clearance (Secret or TS/SCI)
