Position Summary

We are seeking a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) to join a multidisciplinary team serving adults in our Community Psychiatry General Adult Outpatient Program. This role provides comprehensive psychosocial assessments, diagnosis, and individual, family, and group psychotherapy, while collaborating closely with psychiatrists and other members of the care team to support coordinated, patient-centered care.

The ideal candidate is a clinically strong, independently licensed therapist with experience in behavioral health, crisis intervention, documentation, and collaborative care. This position also supports outcome-based, feedback-informed care and may assist with insurance authorizations and other clinical duties as needed.



Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct diagnostic intakes, psychosocial assessments, and treatment planning
  • Provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy to a full caseload
  • Deliver crisis intervention and other clinical support as needed
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary staff to coordinate care
  • Maintain timely, accurate documentation in the electronic medical record
  • Utilize feedback-informed care and routine outcome measures
  • Connect patients and families to community and referral resources
  • Assist with family meetings, care coordination, and other support services
  • Participate in quality improvement and interdisciplinary team activities
  • Provide consultation, mentorship, and supervision as appropriate
  • Perform additional duties as assigned



Qualifications
Education

  • Master's degree in Applied Psychology or a related field


Licensure

  • Valid LCPC required


Skills and Experience

  • Ability to work independently in a behavioral health setting
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills
  • Experience providing psychotherapy to diverse patient populations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with electronic health records and standard office systems
  • Knowledge of community resources and behavioral health systems
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced clinical environment


Salary Range: Minimum 34.62/hour - Maximum 57.19/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
