Pay Rate: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour | Day Shift: 6 AM - 4:30 PM

Industrial Maintenance Technician Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Technical certification, trade school, or associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Technology, Mechanical Technology, or a related field preferred
  • Additional training or certifications in electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, or industrial equipment maintenance are preferred



Industrial Maintenance Technician Experience Requirements

  • 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience required
  • Previous maintenance experience in a distribution center, warehouse, manufacturing, or industrial environment preferred
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment
  • Experience maintaining and troubleshooting material handling equipment, conveyors, motors, and related systems
  • Electrical troubleshooting experience, including diagnosing and repairing electrical systems and components
  • Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and equipment inspections
  • Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and technical documentation
  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and complete repairs efficiently
  • Ability to prioritize maintenance tasks and respond to equipment downtime
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with operations and maintenance teams
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic



Industrial Maintenance Technician Physical Capabilities

  • Ability to stand, walk, stoop, bend, reach, crawl, and work in various positions throughout the shift
  • Ability to perform hands-on maintenance tasks in a warehouse or distribution environment
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move materials and equipment as needed (up to 50% of the workday)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as required
  • Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
  • Ability to work around conveyors, material handling equipment, and industrial machinery
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while responding to equipment issues and maintenance needs


Industrial Maintenance Technician Job Duties

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment and facility systems
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical equipment issues
  • Maintain and repair material handling equipment, conveyors, and warehouse systems
  • Inspect machinery and equipment to identify potential issues and prevent downtime
  • Complete scheduled maintenance tasks according to company standards and procedures
  • Repair, replace, and adjust equipment components using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Perform electrical troubleshooting and basic repairs on industrial systems
  • Support equipment installation, modifications, and improvements as needed
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections
  • Communicate equipment issues, repair status, and operational concerns with leadership and team members
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
  • Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and OSHA guidelines
  • Assist with maintaining tools, equipment, and maintenance supplies
  • Support continuous improvement efforts to improve equipment reliability and operational efficiency
  • Perform other maintenance duties as assigned
