NDE Services Product Line Manager provides strategic and technical leadership for the NDE Services organization within Installed Base. Oversees multiple specialized groups, including NDE technology development, engineering advisors, proposals and business development, project execution, automated NDE analysis, IVVI/manual NDE, project leads, and supporting administrative and program functions. Sets the vision for NDE capabilities and ensures safe, highquality delivery of nondestructive examination services to nuclear utility customers. NDE Services Product Line Manager directs complex technical assignments through subordinate managers across multiple cost centers and work groups. Leads development of new or enhanced NDE technologies, methods, and automated data evaluation capabilities. Ensures operational excellence, customer satisfaction, nuclear safety, regulatory compliance, and alignment with business objectives. Provides updates and technical insight to senior leadership as needed.
What You'll Do Day-To-Day
Provides organizational leadership and technical direction for NDE Services, ensuring effective performance of complex nuclear nondestructive examination programs through subordinate managers and technical leads.
- Plans and directs execution of NDE activities across automated analysis, IVVI/manual inspections, robotics-enabled examinations, and field project implementation, ensuring alignment with industry codes, standards, and customer requirements.
- Ensures project plans, procedures, inspection techniques, and deliverables comply with nuclear regulatory requirements, internal quality standards, and customer expectations.
- Develops and administers technical standards, inspection methodologies, and process improvements related to ultrasonic testing, visual inspections, eddy current, automated data systems, and other NDE technologies used across the fleet.
- Provides goals, objectives, and performance standards for managers and technical personnel; ensures effective development of talent within specialized NDE disciplines.
- Leads longrange planning for the NDE Services portfolio, including technology modernization, automation strategies, digital analysis capabilities, and workforce development.
- Builds strong relationships with nuclear utility customers, providing consultation on inspection planning, outage readiness, emergent work, and technical problem solving.
- Oversees development of proposals, cost estimates, and business development initiatives supporting growth of NDE Solutions offerings.
- Researches and assesses best practices, new inspection technologies, robotics advancements, and data evaluation innovations; recommends application to nuclear field work.
- Works on special projects, strategic initiatives, and crossfunctional efforts supporting Installed Base and broader Engineering Services.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's Degree in related field
- Minimum of 12 years related technical experience or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.
- Advanced knowledge of NDE techniques, standards, codes (ASME, ANSI), and nuclear industry inspection practices (BWRVIP, MRP).
- Ability to set strategic direction for a medium to largescale technical organization and lead development of evolving inspection capabilities.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interface effectively with customers, regulators, senior leadership, engineering teams, and field personnel.
- Proven ability to build and maintain effective interpersonal relationships and foster collaboration across technical disciplines.
- Advanced technical problemsolving, analytical thinking, and operational decisionmaking capabilities.
- Demonstrated leadership managing multiple projects, cost centers, and staff through subordinate managers.
- Knowledge of automated analysis platforms, digital inspection systems, emerging NDE technologies, and robotics-assisted methodologies.

- Salary: $150,000 - $212,000 per year, and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
