What to Expect
The Supply Chain Analytics team at Tesla is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Analyst to provide dedicated analytical support to our Interior and Seating (Cabin) supply chain organization. In this role, you will become the go-to analytics partner for the Cabin team - deeply embedded in their operations, familiar with every aspect of their commodity landscape, and responsible for delivering the analytics solutions they need to launch and scale programs. You will lead the effective utilization of large supply chain datasets, deliver impactful dashboards and insights for Supply Chain Managers and Supplier Industrialization Engineers within the Cabin org, and contribute to strategic projects and continuous improvement efforts. You will interact with stakeholders at all levels, including executives, requiring a sharp business focus, excellent communication skills, and the ability to synthesize complex issues into data-driven solutions. As part of a fast-paced, innovative environment, flexibility, adaptability, and a proactive mindset are essential, and the ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for data analytics, adept at automating processes and tackling complex problems to achieve desired outcomes.

What You'll Do
  • Serve as the dedicated analytics partner for the Interior and Seating (Cabin) supply chain organization, building deep domain expertise and strong stakeholder relationships within the team
  • Design and maintain core analytics tools and dashboards tailored to Cabin-specific needs, covering program readiness, cost tracking, supplier performance, and portfolio health
  • Drive automation initiatives to eliminate manual efforts and streamline reporting processes currently managed by stakeholders, saving time and ensuring better scalability and efficiency
  • Collaborate with Cabin SCMs, SIEs, and cross-functional teams to align analytics solutions with business goals and deliver actionable insights
  • Proactively identify opportunities to optimize processes, address risks, and ensure compliance through data-driven approaches specific to the Cabin commodity landscape
  • Monitor and enhance existing analytics workflows to improve scalability, accuracy, and stakeholder satisfaction

What You'll Bring
  • Degree in Data Analytics or equivalent experience and evidence of exceptional ability
  • 4-6 years of experience in Data Analytics, focusing on building dashboards, automating processes, and providing actionable insights in complex environments
  • Proficiency in SQL for querying and data manipulation, and experience with Python or R for data analysis and automation
  • Hands-on experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to create intuitive and impactful dashboards for diverse stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of supply chain processes and metrics, with the ability to translate business needs into analytical solutions
  • Experience in automating manual processes and developing key performance indicators (KPIs) to support business objectives
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels

    Expected Compensation
    $120,000 - $216,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

    Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
