Academic Achievement and Enrichment

Job Description

  • Manage proactive and responsive outreach to Emerald Scholars using call, text, email, and in person touchpoints; triage risks and escalate as needed
  • Develop student centered messaging that normalizes help seeking and highlights campus resources, success stories, and deadlines
  • Provide barrier removal support (e.g., tutoring referrals, financial aid navigation, basic needs resources, time management coaching) with warm handoffs to campus offices
  • Partner with Academic Advising, Student Financial Services, Student Well Being, Residence Life, and other student services and academic departments to streamline support
  • Track interventions, outcomes, and next steps in approved systems while safeguarding student privacy
  • Maintain accurate records of contacts, referrals, and outcomes; produce timely dashboards and briefings
  • Analyze participation, engagement, and persistence trends to refine strategies and report impact
  • Contribute to reporting, program reviews, and annual planning
  • Co-create, plan, and implement a yearlong programming arc (e.g., academic skill building, peer led study sessions, wellness and belonging workshops)
  • Integrate evidence-based practices (early engagement, active learning, peer mentoring) and iterate based on student feedback and outcomes data
  • Other duties as assigned
Shift

8:00am-4:30pm, Monday - Friday; Some nights and weekends required

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

Anticipated Hiring Range

The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $22.10 - $23.00 hourly.

Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual's particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements.
