JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

The Department of Supply Chain and Information Systems at Penn State University Park invites applications for one part-time teaching assistant to start in summer 2026. The successful candidate will assist Dr. Hui Zhao for up to 10 hours per week during the academic semester.

Job Duties:

  • Grading assignments
  • Holding office hours (2 to 3 hours per week)
  • Managing Canvas for assignment postings and grades
  • Additional duties as assigned by supervisor

Required Qualifications:

  • Excellent quantitative skills
  • Ability to work with Excel and similar software to solve business problems
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Responsible, reliable, and responsive
  • Organized with great attention to detail

Compensation:

Starting rate for this position is $16.00 per hour.
