Full Time/Evenings (40 hours week)

For a limited time MaineHealth is offering up to a $20,000 Sign on bonus for eligible Registered Nurses with greater than 2 years of RN work experience!

  • Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time RN position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.
  • Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.

Spring Harbor Hospitalis a 100-bed free-standing nonprofit psychiatric hospital located in Westbrook, ME. It is one of two freestanding psychiatric hospitals in the state of Maineand offers services for both children and adults.

The Adolescent unit at Spring Harbor hospital, specializes in the care of children, generally in the 12 to 17-year-old range, in a 14 bed facility.Our multidisciplinary patient care team specializes in the treatment of diagnoses most commonly found in children and adolescents. These include:

  • Depression
  • Disruptive Behavior Disorders
  • Emerging Psychotic Disorders
  • Anxiety Disorders
  • Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder
  • Substance Use disorders

Summary:

The RN Nursing Services Team Lead provides coordination, supervision and management of all nursing functions on the inpatient units. The RN Nursing Services Team Lead reports directly to the Nursing Director or designee and works collaboratively with unit leadership, ensuring the successful operation of the unit.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program/RN required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • License/Certifications: Licensed as a registered professional nurse by the Maine State Board of Nursing required.
  • Experience: 2+ years of nursing experience preferred. Experience with psychiatric nursing preferred.
  • Demonstrate leadership and management skills.
  • Demonstrate expertise in clinical practice and judgment.
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills.
