Instrumentation & Electrical Tech - Maintenance

6-Month Contract-to-Hire | $53/hour |

Seeking an experienced I&E Specialist to support industrial maintenance operations. This role provides technical support for instrumentation, electrical systems, PLCs, DCS, and control systems while partnering with Maintenance, Engineering, and Operations teams.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot instrumentation, electrical, PLC, and control system issues.
• Support preventive maintenance, reliability improvements, and equipment upgrades.
• Review work plans, drawings, procedures, and job scopes.
• Assist with commissioning, startups, turnarounds, and capital projects.
• Perform root cause analysis and provide technical support to technicians.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Associate Degree required.
• Industrial manufacturing experience (chemical, petrochemical, refining, or similar).
• Hands-on experience with instrumentation, electrical systems, and PLC controls.
• Ability to read P&IDs, loop diagrams, wiring diagrams, and electrical drawings.
• PLC/DCS/SIS troubleshooting experience preferred.
• SAP maintenance experience a plus.
