Care At Home - Who we are: https://youtu.be/FJpe-cbaA7g?si=ula_iBAkPPb7PTPm (Copy and paste into browser) The Pharmacy Procurement Coordinator II manages daily purchasing activities to ensure timely, cost-effective acquisition of medications and pharmacy supplies. Processes orders, monitors wholesaler inventory, resolves routine purchasing issues, and maintains accurate procurement records. Collaborates with vendors and internal stakeholders to optimize procurement processes and support patient care. Work is performed with attention to detail, regulatory compliance, andalignment with formulary and operational needs. Essential funcitions include but are not limited to processing daily medication and supply orders through the pharmacy wholesaler and approved manufacturers; monitoring wholesaler inventory, contract pricing, and product availability to ensure timely fulfillme; tracking backorders, product shortages, and allocation limits, communicating updates to pharmacy leadership and operational teams; verifying order accuracy, resolves routine discrepancies, and coordinates returns or credits as needed; ensuring compliance with purchasing contracts, policies, regulations, and accreditation standards; maintaining purchasing records, invoices, and documentation in accordance with departmental and regulatory requirements; supporting cost-effective purchasing by identifying contract-compliant products and alternatives; collaborating with inventory staff to align purchasing with par levels, usage trends, and storage capacity; working collaboaratively with pharmacy staff to forecast, triage and manage drug/supply shortages to ensure continuity of patient care; assiting with formulary updates, product transitions, and medication recalls by coordinating procurement activities; and using procurement software and inventory systems to track orders and expeditures. Minimum Qualifications:
Salary Range: Minimum $23.35/hour - Maximum 38.54/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
