JOB STATUS: Full Time

CLEARANCE: Secret

TRAVEL: Less than 5%

SALARY: $95,000 to $105,000

Astrion has acontingentopening for aProgram Analyst supportingthe U.S.Navy'sNaval SurfaceWarfareCenter Dahlgren Division,located inDahlgren, VA. In thisProgram Analystposition, you will provideessential management, programmatic, and financial execution support for complex Department of Defense (DoD) and Navy weapon system programs. This roleis responsible fortranslating technical raw data into highly organized, executive-level documentation whilehelping to drivethe program's Risk Management Process.You will support the Program Manager, ensuringthat tracking metrics, project scheduling, and allocation controlsremainaligned with overarchingrequirements,objectives,and defense acquisition lifecycle milestones.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

  • Two (2) years of work-related experience in management support
  • Demonstrated technical understanding and ability to prepare complex and detailed technical documents and reports; OR, three (3) years of specialized experience in:
  • financial planning
  • budgeting and execution of project funds for allocation purposes
  • integrated management schedule (IMS) development and maintenance
  • tracking for planning and budgeting
  • coordination of task planning
  • schedule development and task execution for DoD and Navy programs and projects
  • Ability to support the execution of the Risk Management Process (e.g.,maintainingrisk registers, risk management meeting agendas, drafting and editing risk management documents, mitigation plans, after action reports)
  • Demonstratedcomprehensive knowledge of software applications and best business practices along with a high degree of skill in applying software functions necessary to prepare complex and detailed documentsusingthe Microsoft (MS) Office suite of products and providing management support
  • Experience in processing complex and lengthy technical reports that include tables, graphs, charts, or multiple columns,participatingin Technical Progress and Design Reviews and program technical meetings, and providing status and inputs to technical reports, whitepapersand meetings
  • This positionrequires Information Assurance Technical (IAT)II level with a T3investigation
