SALARY RANGE:$200K to $265K

Astrion has an exciting opportunity for an onsite Director of Capture Management - Layered Defense, Autonomous Warfare & Integrated Fires, to help shape growth in one of the most dynamic areas of modern defense. This is an exciting senior-level opportunity for a capture leader who understands how sensors, effectors, uncrewed systems, autonomy, electronic warfare, and fires are converging into new ways to defend assets, defeat threats, and extend combat power across domains.

In this role, you will partner with senior growth, mission, campaign, technical, and customer-facing leaders to shape opportunities that bring together layered detection, identification, tracking, defeat, autonomous teaming, AI-enabled mission software, counter-UAS, long-range fires, directed energy, operational test, training, and mission integration. This is a role for someone who can help Astrion move beyond traditional services capture and into integrated. Solution-led growth while seeing where the fight is going, understand what customers need before it is fully defined, and turn Astrion capabilities into differentiated solutions that matter to the warfighter.

MISSION AREA: LAYERED DEFENSE, AUTONOMOUS WARFARE & INTEGRATED FIRES

The Layered Defense, Autonomous Warfare & Integrated Fires mission area is focused on synchronized detection, identification, tracking, and defeat capabilities - kinetic, non-kinetic, and directed-energy - arrayed across multiple altitudes, ranges, and domains to deny, degrade, and destroy threats to defended assets while delivering integrated counter-fires. It also includes the integrated employment of uncrewed and autonomous systems across air, land, surface, subsurface, and space domains to conduct, enable, and sustain combat operations through human-machine and machine-machine teaming.

This is not a role for someone who simply tracks opportunities. It requires a senior capture leader who can build customer trust, influence early shaping, understand the competitive field, develop credible solution strategies with technical SMEs, and lead disciplined capture campaigns from qualification through award.
