Total Gas & Chemical Management (TGCM) Operations group provides our semiconductor manufacturing customers with on site safe, reliable, and cost-effective management of the gases and chemicals needed on a daily basis in the production of electronics materials. This service requires operating and maintaining gas and chemical distribution equipment and systems 24/7 without issue or interruption.

  • Support the proper transfer of materials to the dock hazardous waste storage area, maintain the dock hazardous storage area, and utilize appropriate documentation, equipment, and procedures to ensure the proper management of hazardous waste. Ensure proper labeling of hazardous waste, follow established procedures for handling spills/emergencies, assist with the pour-up of materials, segregate compatible materials, prepare waste/containers for shipment, operate a forklift safely, support waste minimization programs/activities, and maintain a clear understanding of applicable hazardous waste laws.

  • Help coordinate inventory control of chemicals and gas cylinders.

    Coordinate production schedules for the manufacturing operation by releasing jobs.

  • Collaborate with customers to resolve issues. Build alignment with customers and suppliers to support timely deliveries and maintain correct inventory levels.

  • Provide constructive feedback to customers and management when actual performance varies significantly from forecast and is impacting inventory levels.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED OR 5+ years of experience

  • 3+ years of related experience

  • Ability to identify and analyze situations when customer forecast does not equal actual usage

  • Ability to utilize Min/Mix system to accurately forecast

  • Familiar with Inventory Control Applications

  • Ability to Work in a Team Environment

  • Ability to communicate and coordinate issues

  • Good Communication Skills: Ability to follow/give both written and verbal instructions

  • Evidence of previous work in a successful team environment, act as a mentor toall junior technicians

  • Knowledge of all proper reporting procedures per onsite operations policy, including product acceptance criteria, tank fill, inventory and material usage, monitoring, safety parameters and personnel requirements

  • Self motivated to learn

  • Display aptitude for controlling an emergency situation and coordinating problem solving actions

  • Able to understand and abide by stringent safety rules

  • Demonstrate ability to train junior technicians

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift 60 lbs

  • Ability to stand/walk up to 11 hours per day

  • Ability to operate hydraulic foot pump (55 gallon drums - drums could be up to 500 lbs)

  • Job requires constant bending to successfully complete shift tasks (validating information, checking systems, etc.)

  • Ability to wear a respirator as part of required PPE for certain job tasks
